Frequently asked questions

Can you take over maintenance of a site you didn't build?
Yes — this is actually very common. We’re happy to take on sites built by other developers, regardless of the platform. We’ll do a quick review first to make sure we understand how it’s put together, and then we can get started.
What if I need more hours than my plan includes one month?
Not a problem. Any additional time is simply billed at the discounted care plan rate of £30/hour. We’ll always let you know before doing any work that would take you over your monthly allowance.
Do unused hours roll over?
Unused hours don’t roll over month to month, but they contribute to your annual website health review — a chance for us to look at your site as a whole and suggest any improvements worth making.
Is there a setup fee?
For new clients whose sites are in good health, there’s no setup fee. If we pick up a site that needs some remedial work before we can maintain it properly, we’ll let you know upfront and agree a one-off cost before starting.
